Legon Cities Coach Barjaktarevic vows to bring AshGold back to earth

Head coach of Legon Cities Goran Barjaktarevic has vowed to give league leaders AshantiGold a tough time when the two clash this evening at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The game is slated for a 7 pm kickoff and presents an opportunity for the underdog to upset the odds against the favorite.

Legon Cities are without a win so far after three games and face a daunting task against an AshGold team yet to concede a goal and also drop points this season.

Despite the statistics pointing otherwise, the Legon Cities Coach Goran Barjaktarevic insists his side has seen improvements and are keen on making the game nightmarish for the visitors.

He told media men at the club’s pre match press conference they will go for the jugular against AshGold.

“We have improved in the way we play, we have improved on our play as well as our stamina, you watch us against Dreams and in the second half it was good, Our game against Kotoko, the first and third goal we conceded was lack of concentration, against Ashgold we will go for the win.”

The game will be live on StarTimes’ Adepa HD Channel 247 from 7pm GMT on Wednesday January 15.
