The finals of TV Africa’s children’s reality show came off last Saturday with thousands of people thronging to the National Theatre to support their favourite talents. The show which started with choreography from all 13 finalists, ended with the crowning of Kwame Mifetu as the Amazing Child for season two.
It was a day of fun and good music from all 13 finalists as they thrilled the audience with their performances and activities. The finalists did their best to exhibit our culture and heritage through dancing, singing and acting. The first round of performance saw the eviction of 7 people which left 6 of the contestants to battle for the crown. Though very competitive; Crystal Youngsters from Bishop Girls School emerged as second runner up, with young Sekyibea all the way from Elite School Complex in Oda emerging as 1st runner up. The crown for the Amazing Child season two went to a twelve year old Kwame mifetu from St. Micheals School Nungua. All three winners won mouth watering prizes including, a trip to South Africa, Scholarships, Cash and products from sponsors,
Keeping up the momentum in the auditorium were also performances from Gifty Osei, Obour, and Akosua Adjapong.
