Ghanaian gospel musician, Minister Carl Clottey has revealed that he couldn’t pay Clemento Suarez the amount he requested when he needed his service.

Speaking in an interview with Zion Felix on the ‘Uncut’ Show, Minister Clottey said the comedian charged him GH¢5000 before he could make an appearance in his ‘Deedew’ music video.

He stated that the amount was too much so he couldn’t afford to pay—and they had to look for someone else to feature in the video.

While they were deliberating on who to settle on, the video director, Kobby Okyere showed him a video of Ghanaian social media personality, Ebenezer Forson (EB Forson) and asked whether they should use him as a substitute.

After watching the video, he answered affirmatively and EB Forson showed up for the shooting after they communicated with him.

Minister Carl Clottey thanked EB Forson for his contribution, adding that, he didn’t take a penny from him.

He also acknowledged how talented EB is, despite the criticisms of his affiliation with EB Forson, he believed in his denial of being gay.

The gospel minister candidly opened up on how difficult it would have been for him to raise such an amount requested by Clemento Suarez as he is doing almost everything himself through little savings and support from few friends.
