Most gospel artistes will probably object to inviting mallams and fetish priests to their album launch, but for promising gospel musician, NoraMay it is a great opportunity to welcome all and sundry to Christ.

She said there is absolutely nothing immoral with inviting idol worshippers to the house of God and accepting their offering.

NoraMay who’s new in the music industry told host of Kasapa Entertainment, Kojo Preko Dankwa, Saturday, that she is amazed why some gospel artistes are of the view that once a colleague artiste gets financial support or invite idolaters to their show then it’s a bad example to their followers as Christians.

“I’ll invite mallams and fetish priests to my album launch because they’re the reason why Christ came to die for mankind…I won’t ignore their financial support at my album launch,” NoraMay said.

Quoting Matthew 28:19, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age,” NoraMay said the scripture gives them an even greater weight to many who believe that Jesus’ last words should be the first priority of gospel acts.

Noramay said friendly request to mallams and fetish priests should be seen as a great opportunity to draw them to God.

In a related story, Piesie Esther at the launch of her recent album ‘Agye Won Sem’ said she invited a popular fetish priestess, Nana Agradaa, because the priestess has been her friend for many years so she thought it wise to make a formal request to her to attend the album launch.

Piesie Esther who made a major comeback into the music business last year after a long break released an album not too long ago at Alisa Hotel in Accra, to announce her return.

During the album launch, Nana Agradaa was spotted at the event and according to an eyewitness, the fetish priestess was seen sharing money at the event.
