Medeama SC coach Samuel Boadu has broken his silence on the report that he was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed on the sideline during their Ghana Premier League game against Ashantigold.

The coach passed out on the sidelines in the second half and was rushed to the hospital right away.

But in an exclusive interview with Footballmadeinghana.com, Boadu revealed he didn’t collapse but was feeling dizzy and asked the goalkeepers trainer to take him to hospital.

“I didn’t collapse, I was just feeling dizzy so I went to the dressing room and then asked the goalkeepers trainer to take me to the nearest hospital.

“I wasn’t feeling well and had to take injection before the game against Ashgold, I don’t usually eat before games so that might have caused the dizziness.

The illness forced him to sit out of the games against Inter Allies and Elmina Sharks and was cleared to return in his side 1-0 win over Olympics.
