Foursquare Gospel Church donates PPEs to GA East Municipal Hospital

In their effort to support the fight against the novel Coronavirus, Foursquare Gospel Church has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the Ga East Municipal Hospital.

The hospital which is one of the frontline health centres in the fight against COVID-19 in the country is located in Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region.

The items donated included 20 gallons of 5litres liquid soap, 25 gallons of hand sanitizer, 400 pieces of N95 Nose mask, 24 pieces of Jumbo size kitchen towel and 7 pieces of medium size dustbin among others.

The General Secretary of the Church, Rev. Nathaniel Laryea who presented the items on behalf of the Rev. Francis Sey the General Overseer, said the church was moved by the wonderful contribution of the hospital.

Following this, they mobilised these PPEs to contribute their quota to the fight and boost the morale of frontline workers.

He was optimistic that the items donated would go a long way to support the hospital's fight in these difficult times.

Receiving the items, the Medical Superintendent of the Ga East Municipal Hospital, Dr. Ebenezer Oduro expressed his appreciation to the church for such gesture.

He also urged Ghanaians to observe the various precautionary measures put in place by the Ghana Health Service.
