Evangelist Diana Asamoah launches new album…sold 8000 copies within a week of its release

Evangelist Diana Asamoah (the Queen of Gospel) the ace accomplished gospel musician is a name that rings a bell anywhere in the country and beyond as far as gospel music is concerned. Her soul-inspiring music had had a positive impact on gospel music lovers and Christians alike.

Her maiden album “Wo Na mani Agyena Wo” short her straight into stardom which gained her much acclaimed popularity but what “Mabo Wodin” came to represent was simple marvelous and soul touching especially the video which depicted the political coronation of a sort. It became a record selling album and her third “Akoko Abon” broke all boundaries as it also did so well that it actually won an award by and got nominated in several categorizes during Ghana Music Awards 2006.

Diana’s forth and latest “Madanse Diee” (My Testimony) is already enjoying massive air play among some radio stations and according to our information she has already sold about 8000 copies within one week of its released. This album has its own uniqueness and character. The gospel Queen and icon proved that she is not only good when it comes to worship songs but equally better in other forms of gospel be it Reggae, Jazz, Adowa or Highlife.

The lanky crooner is noted for her smooth but powerful voice delivery and lyrical prowess that has been her source of pride and inspiration to many Christians and non-Christians. Evangelist Diana Asamoah is out-dooring or launching her latest album on September 30th 2007 at Kumasi Bantama Christ Apostolic Church (CAC).

Guest who passing through include; The 2006 Ghana Music Awards winner Kwaku Gyasi, new gospel sensation Francis Asumadu, Agnes Opoku Agyemang, Rev. Mensah Bonsu the accordion man and many others. Frimprince Music Production is organizing the programme in conjunction with Fox Fm of Kumasi.
