Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Edward Nii Odoom has expressed his satisfaction following their 2-1 victory over Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The narrow win over the Abontoa bontoa boys was the clubs first win after back to back defeats in their opening two games.

Two delightful free kicks by Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi in either half secured the Phobians all three points and Coach Odoom is hopeful this can be a turning point in a tumultuous campaign so far.

“We controlled the game for large periods against Dwarfs and, this is testament to what we have been doing at the training ground and, I am positive about our chances for the future”, he said at his post-match press conference.

He added: “I look forward to the future with high hopes and, we will build on this performance in our upcoming games.”

The Phobians travel to Sogakope for a tricky test against WAFA on Wednesday before returning to the capital to take on Liberty Professionals in an Accra derby at Dansoman.
