A female gospel musician, Mary Agyemang, has debunked claims that her latest song, 'Change Over' is a politically motivated one to gain an attention for a particular political party.

Mary Agyemang, known in her maiden album, ‘Oye Mprenmpren Nyame' as Mary Forkuo Agyemang, speaking on Adom Entertainment Hall with Mike 2 said, the song is a prophetic song given to her by God.

"The Change Over album is to have positive change in people's lives in whatever bad situations they are going through", she said.

Mary Agyemang, who is also the Human Resource Manager at Anyinam Lodge in Obuasi, stated that, the song has no affiliation with any political party but rather for people who need positive change in their lives.

"In every 31st December, people go to church to pray for a new change and you will see some church posters during that time reading Cross Over, Jump Over, Change Over and many others so as for change very body needs it", she noted.

She said the song is an inspirational song to inspire everyone to work towards change in 2016 and beyond.

Meanwhile, she has disclosed that, the gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy, is her role model and has been inspired with her music ever since, 'in fact I love her music and lifestyle.

She had therefore urged all musicians, particularly gospel musicians to compose songs that are inspirational and has a spiritual touch to bring positive change into the lives of the people.
