Ace music producer and Programmes Manager at Hitz Fm, Mark Okraku-Mantey has hit back at critics for saying they are not seeing more of Kumi Guitar.

Mark is one of the outspoken, very vocal industry players; people keep raising concerns as to why he is always hitting at other brands, whilst his musician Kumi Guitar don’t even have anything to boast of,.. but Mark has decided to clear the air this time around.

Reacting to what people are saying about him and Kumi Guitar, he said;

“Lots of people are complaining as to why I’m delaying Kumi Guitar, that Kumi Guitar is not releasing songs, playing shows and the rest. Kumi is delaying because of how I intended branding him from the onset. It is high time people know that it’s not about coming, but coming well. I repeat, it’s about coming well, patience is everything.”

Mark continued to hit hard, “When I was producing Lord Kenya and Akyeame, at a point in time, Lord Kenya started complaining as to why he was not up there like Akyeame, and how he desired to get out there quick, as in coming into the limelight, and I was doing that to Kenya just because of how I wanted to brand him, and at the end of the day it worked, we got to where we wanted. Lord Kenya became one of the biggest musicians those days”.

So people should get it straight, it’s all boils down to patience, and it’s all about coming well.” He ended.

Nana Yaw Kumi, the Adisadel College old boy came into the limelight late 2013, and released his smash hit single, ‘Break into 2, which garnered him nominations in the VGMAs.
