Baba Yara shooting victim, Augustine Oppong has revealed the difficulty he has been facing after losing his right eye in the Porcupines’ matchday 3 game against Berekum Chelsea.

Oppong who was standing close to a group of agitated fans after Kotoko’s 1-0 defeat to Chelsea received four pellets of bullet in his head and has lost his right eye aside suffering facial injuries.

Oppong in an interview with Kumasi-based Light FM said; “Life is really going on bad for me. It has taken the intervention of God almighty and my wife whom have come to my aid in this difficult moment of lockdown”.

He added that the police who shot him are yet to visit him at home to see his current situation.

“No policeman has visited me at home after that tragic shot on my eye. I personally went to central police station to meet Chief Mfum who gave me a letter to present to the hospital to receive doctor’s report but due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the process has been halted”
