Majeed Ashimeru and Gideon Waja watched their former club WAFA beat Ebusua Dwarfs in Sogakope on match day 2 of the Ghana Premier League.

The former Academy graduates are in the country for holidays and took the opportunity to visit the club.

The pair were not disappointed after the young WAFA team produced a strong display to beat the Crabs and make it two wins in two games.

The opening goal was scored after 13 minutes through Eric Asamany who slotted in from close range from a rebound after a Justice Amate cross was not dealt with properly by the Dwarfs

Dwarfs were compact and did open up and played for a drawn game.

Teenager Daniel Owusu climbed off the bench to score his first Ghana Premier League goal.

He finished off a through pass- which was over the head of defender Emmanuel Anarfo-from the middle.

So for the fourth time, WAFA have posted a 2-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs.

Ashimeru plies his trade in Austria for giants Red Bull Salzburg but Gideon Waja is currently unattached after a spell with Toronto FC.
