Ablakwa prays for Bawumia

Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is wishing Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia a speedy recovery from his ill health.

“Wishing our Vice President a speedy recovery. Our fervent prayers and kind thoughts continue to be with him. Looking forward to his return home soon to carry out the onerous duties of State,” the lawmaker tweeted.

Dr Bawumia was flown to the United Kingdom (UK) on Friday, 19 January 2018 for “medical leave” after reporting of ill health.

A statement signed by the Chief Of Staff, Frema Opare Saturday said he was flown to the UK on the advice of his doctors.

Meanwhile, Deputy Health Minister, Kingsley Aboagye-Gyadu, has revealed that Dr Bawumia is recovering faster than expected.
