97% of Ghanaians are corrupt - NPP's Sam Pyne

The Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Secretary, Sam Pyne has cleared that, the toughness in addressing corruption in the country is because the canker is pervasive as it cuts across all sectors.

Speaking on Pure FM's 'Pure Morning Drive' with Kwame Adinkra, the NPP’s scribe remarked that, about 97% of Ghanaians are corrupt and are shortchanging each other, making the fight by the President in addressing the challenge a difficult one.

He begged Ghanaians to have attitudinal change so we can all help to address the bane.

Earlier, the Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo Marfo speaking at a forum in Accra monitored by Mypurefmonline.com remarked that, Corruption will end in Ghana if only Ghanaians change their mindset and attitude. He reminded them that, they have a role to play in ending corruption in the country.

“Despite the fine laws in Ghana, it will take a change of attitudes and mindset to end corruption. Our current state of development is a reflection of our values, mindset, priorities, and work ethics as a people. We need a mindset change to achieve Ghana Beyond Aid.”
