Akuffo Addo Commended For His Promise Of Neutrality In Parliamentary Primaries

The Communications Committee of the Akilu Sayibu Fan Club in Tamale has commended the flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for making it clear that, “he has no candidates he prefers in the upcoming parliamentary primaries of the NPP in the country.
In a statement issued to the media and signed by Mr. Zakaria Ibrahim Alhassan popularly call Lawyer and Alhassan Lord, the group stated that, the bold statement of Nana Addo that, he does not support any candidate, goes a long way to confirm the commitment of Nana Addo to ensure free and fair elections devoid of any acrimonies during the primaries.
The statement called on delegates of the NPP to take note of the statement of Nana Addo and not take any parliamentary aspirants who comes to them with allegations that, “He or She was asked to see them by Nana Akuffo Addo seriously”
The group also appealed to delegates to vote for persons who have the track record of having worked and died for the NPP in the past to ensure a resounding victory for the NPP in the 2012 elections.
According to the statement there is no longer any faction in the NPP; the NPP has only one faction now after the presidential primaries of the party last year and that faction is, Nana Akuffo Addo who we must all work for to achieve the much cherished victory for the NPP in the 2012 elections.
The group also thanked all those who have been showing commitment and dedication to the “Akilu Sayibu for parliament project” and urged them to continue till victory appears in sight.
