Three Eastern Region schools qualify for NCSQuiz 2019

Three Junior High Schools have qualified to represent the Eastern Region for the 2019 National Core Subjects Quiz (NCSQuiz).

Bethel Preparatory and JHS (BEPJUHIS), Star of Suhum School (SOS) and Mamfe Apostolic School Complex (MASCO) made it big at the Pre-regional competitions of the NCSQuiz for Junior High Schools to represent the Eastern region at the 3rd edition of the annual inter-schools competition which will be held in Accra, April 2019.

The NCSQuiz for JHS is an academic platform for JHS students where their intellectual ability, as well as their swiftness in recollection of information imbibed over time, is tested upon in relation to the four
core subjects namely; English Language, Social Studies, Integrated Science and Mathematics, which are very important determinants for postings to Senior High Schools.

Dayspring Montessori International School have won the NSCQuiz for two consecutive times, beating Val's Preparatory School in the last edition. The champions scored 66 to 59 points for the winners to lift the trophy along with a GHC 1,000 cedis cheque.

Registration of schools is still on for the regional competitions of other regions.
