Sack ‘loot and share’ NDC appointees – Group

The ruling New Patriotic Party communicators association, United Patriots in the Tamale metropolis has demanded the immediate sack of heads of institutions believe to be loyal to the outgone NDC government to save poor man’s tax money.

According to the group, the officials are taking undue advantage to continuously loot and share state properties, especially at the Youth Employment Agency, the Regional Health Insurance Scheme, the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority, MASLOC, Metro Mass Transport and at the School Feeding Programme Secretariat.

The group said the leadership and the grassroots of the party respect the rule of law and promised not to take clue from the actions from the then NDC government where public officials were beaten from the their offices.

In a statement signed by the association secretary, Mr. Umar Bayaan and copied Awake News, stated that the Regional Health Insurance Scheme is steadily collapsing due to the incompetent and corrupt management of the scheme by the officers who are still occupying this office.

“Their continuous stay in the offices is given them opportunity to mismanage the state resources, and thwarting the efforts of this government to make Ghana work again”.

The group appealed to president Akufo Addo, the NPP national and regional executives as a matter of urgency vacant the said officers from their duty to curtail the mismanagement of the public resources.

They further urged the identified officers to honorable vacant post by the middle of this month, or they advice themselves accordingly.
