President John Dramani Mahama, like his contender from the largest opposition party in the country is campaigning in the Upper East Region of Ghana.

The president in an address to residents of Bawku has been touting the many successes his government has chalked in the past four years citing reasons why the NDC must be retained in power.

According to President Mahama, the NDC government remains the best alternative for Ghana for the continuous growth of the country's economy.
