Nduom didn’t pay me - Dzogbenuku

The vice presidential candidate of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) Brigitte Dzogbenuku has rubbished claims she took a whopping sum from the party’s founder Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom to partner him in the race to the Flagstaff House.

The former beauty queen was outdoored in August.

Speaking on Starr Chat on Wednesday, Dzogbenuku stressed fiscal enticement was never her motivation to be on the PPP ticket.

“I wasn’t given money and I don’t need to be paid for my conviction…” she told host Bola Ray on Starr 103.5FM.

Madam Dzogbenuku was of the conviction that the PPP will “shock” the world after the December 7 polls because she will be occupying the Flagstaff House with her boss Dr. Nduom.

She promised an Nduom government will create jobs and put the economy on track, adding her boss’ achievement as a business man attests to the fact that he is the best person to lead Ghana.

Dr. Nduom on Thursday August 4, 2016 named Ms. Dzogbenuku as his running mate in the December 7 presidential polls.

In her acceptance speech during her unveiling, she said she was absolutely fit for the job. “I’m a Ghanaian and I think I’m the best person to hold this position.”

But, in a separate interview with Joy FM on Friday August 5 2016, she stated that she feared being the best vice president Ghana would never had.
