The development is said to have deepened the wrangling within NDC members in the constituency, with some insisting Umar returns all properties belonging to the party in his possession.

The Chairman is being challenged by one Ibrahim Yakubu who claims the NDC Constituency Chairman, Saeed Umar is not a registered voter in the Suame Constituency and hence does not qualify to be the Chairman or represent them at the national delegates’ level.
