President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Monday July 23, 2018 in accordance with article 70(2) of the 1992 constitution, nominated a replacement for Madam Charlotte Osei who was fired together with her two deputies, Amadu Sulley and Georgina Opoku Amankwa respectively.

A statement issued by the Chief of Staff copied to MyNewsGh.com announced head of the Institute for Economic Affairs (IEA) Mrs Jean Mensa as her replacement.

Many were those who trooped to the Instagram page of Mrs Osei to gauge her mood after the announcement but she did not fail to disappoint with her soothing words for the worried.

She said “A shepherd provides. A shepherd guides. A shepherd leads. A shepherd delivers from harm. A shepherd knows his sheep intimately. A shepherd protects. This week, walk in the confidence that your Shepherd knows you and loves you. Do you know your shepherd?”

Asked by a follower only identified as Richard K Kwakye who asked “Madam, it seems you worry yourself too much in life. If your current situation is without any blemish, why do you worry? Can you do something about it? If yes, then why do you worry? If No, then why do you worry? Please, relax for the EC position was created before you went there. But Madam, as at now, you have not been able to tell Ghanaians how and why our former President appointed you. Let us know.

She responded “@richard.k.kwakye go check out my CV. It would help you. And please ask those who know me, I never ever worry. My faith and trust in God are without measure. I sleep easy”
