Ex-President Mahama and his NDC deserve to stay in opposition longer - NPP MP

NPP Member of Parliament [MP] for Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Daniel Okyem Aboagye has said that former President John Dramani Mahama and his National Democratic Congress [NDC] deserve to stay longer in opposition if we want Ghana to progress.

To him, they [NDC] have no better intentions or alternatives than the current government that should guarantee them the chance to lead the country again, when all they are good at is to destroy the proper foundations laid by a previous government.

Speaking on UTV’s late news programme, the Member of Parliament’s Finance Committee stated they are still managing the disarray NDC created whiles in government especially that of the banking sector and the unpaid millions of contracts awarded.

“ . . It saddens my heart to hear members of the NDC tease the current government of not embarking on any infrastructural development like they did, when we are paying the amateur contracts they awarded in respect to winning elections,” he said.

Hon. Okyem Aboagye counseled Ghanaians never to focus on anything members of the NDC say because they cannot match the NPP in any part of governance.
