Businessman and Politician, Akwasi Addai Odike has warned the Akufo-Addo led administration that they are opposition bound with the level corruption witnessed.

He particularly stated that some of the appointees alleged to be neck-deep in corrupt acts will be a catalyst for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to into opposition earlier than anticipated.

On Kumasi-based Angel Fm about the recent Manasseh’s exposé involving the suspended Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), Mr Adjenim Boateng Adjei, he said “I want to send a strong advice to President Akufo-Addo that, corruption among his appointees will make him a one term President like Ghanaians did to John Mahama if he does not know”

He added “” There is no change in terms of fighting corruption under President Akufo-Addo comparing it to John Mahama’s time”, the UPP founder told host Kwame Tanko adding: “I can give you more evidence to show you corruption is even worsening in this government”.

A documentary by Manasseh titled “Contracts for Sale” premiered last Wednesday captured the PPA Boss’ own company under the name Talent Discovery Limited incorporated in June 2017 which has won a number of government contracts through restrictive tendering.

From excerpts of the 46-minute documentary, it also emerged that the company was engaged in the sale of contracts and was ready to sell one worth a ¢22.3 million to a non-existent entity during an undercover investigation.
