The Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah has called on the Ghana Football Association to replace the coach of the National Team, Black Stars following the team’s poor show in the 2019 AFCON tournament.

Ghana’s journey at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations ended at the round of 16 after losing on penalties to Tunisia on Monday evening.

The Carthage Eagles won the shootout 5-4 to set up a quarter-final date with Madagascar on Thursday.

Commenting on the Black Stars disappointing game last night, the popular Man of God said Black Stars need a better coach to push the national team to greater heights insisting Kwesi Appiah’s style of coaching leaves much to be desired.

“I feel Kwesi Appiah is the problem, he’s not firm at all. He has a strong technical team behind him but I don’t know why he’s not doing well with the team. He was very poor with some of the substitutions he made in the tournament. He’s not firm and the tournament exposed his incompetencies. I like him very much, and I would have loved he’s maintained, but we need a better coach to handle the Black Stars,” he told sit-in host Akwesi Nsiah on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5 Fm.
