Answers to Okudzeto, Kwakye Ofosu comments - CVM President

The President for Concerned Voter's Movement (CVM), Mr Razak Kojo Opoku has said President Akufo-Addo will never defer questions to his appointees if he strongly believes that they are unintelligible appointees as it happened between 2012-2016 in Ghana.

Mr Kojo Opoku has responded those who are making noise about the President's directing some questions to his appointees during the media encounter held yesterday July 18 at Flagstaff House.

A statement was issued by Mr Razak Kojo Opoku dated, Wednesday July 19, 2017 and cited by Daniel Kaku indicating that President Nana Addo did well to allow some of his appointees answer some questions asked by Ghana's media.

"A good leader always shares his glory with his followers and that is the hallmark of President Akufo-Addo", Mr Kojo Opoku emphasized.

President Akufo-Addo's decision to defer questions to his ministers was simply because he did not want to lie to Ghanaians that he has created 1.6 million jobs since he was voted as President of the Republic of Ghana.

President Akufo-Addo demonstrated to Ghanaians that he has absolute trust in
the capabilities of his appointees and that he is absolutely safe working with competent and intelligent team.

A good leader always shares his glory with his followers and that is the hallmark of President Akufo-Addo.

A President will never defer questions to his appointees if he strongly believes that they are unintelligible appointees as it happened between 2012-2016 in Ghana.

A self confident leader(President Akufo-Addo) with intelligent appointees will always feel proud to give them the opportunities to shine in public.

But a leader without self confidence working with unintelligible appointees will never defer questions to them in public for the fear of being disgraced. That was exactly the case between 2012-2016 in Ghana where a Vice-President was hiding and operating from the kitchen at the FlagStaff House.
