Akufo-Addo is confused – Sam George

Member of Parliament(MP) for Ningo Prampram, Sam Nartey George has said in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is confused.

Speaking on TV3’s ‘The Key Points’ he said the president has contradicted himself in the fight against illegal small-scale mining reason it has been very unsuccessful.

“Operation Vanguard has been largely successful even though problems still remain,” Sam George quoted the president as saying in his message on the state of the nation last Thursday.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) said this makes the president a contradiction of himself and confused.

“How can you be successful and still there is a problem?” he wondered.

He compared the statement of the president to a student scoring 28 percent in an examination and demanding applause for that.
