As part of measures to solve the perennial water problems on campus, some Adisadel College Old Boys on Tuesday, commissioned state-of-the-art water distribution system for the School.

The facility, initiated by Mr. Ben Owusu Mensah, an Old Boy of the 1970-year group, was solely financed by contributions of Old Boys of 1965- 72-year Groups of Jubilee House at a cost of GHS28,000.00

It comes with a 700 litre polytank mounted on a tiled concrete platform supported by another 300 litre polytank mounted on an erected metal structure with automatic pump to supply potable water to the Jubilee House.

The water project formed part of series of initiated and executed projects by the Group to help give the School a facelift. The Group had earlier painted the Jubilee House block, rehabilitated its washrooms and toilets, fixed security doors as well as broken windows.

According to Mr. Owusu Mensah, the projects only reaffirmed the Group's commitment to contribute to the growth of the School and assured of more benevolent support.

He said it was important that the boys maintained good sanitation in their houses, which could only be possible with constant water supply.

"We did not just come back home but we came to give back to our Alma Mater towards its development and this is only the beginning of more things to come," he added.
