The President Nana Akufo-Addo continues to earn more commendation and winning the heart of traditional leaders for the political will it demonstrated in resolving the Dagbon Chieftaincy dispute which led to the enskinment of a new Ya Naa.

Omanhene of Akyem Tweapease in the Kwaebibirem District Nana Asirifi Katwobo II is the latest personality to commended His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for initiating a move that will see lasting peace restored in Dagbon.

The Savelugu Naa, Alhaji Abubakari Mahama II was selected as the new Yaa-Naa of Dagbon last week after the funeral of the Yaa-Naa Yakubu Andani II, who died in 2002.

According to Nana Asirifi Katwobo II, “President Akufo Addo and Otumfour Osei Tutu II need to be celebrated for ensuring that there is peace in Dagbon. There is also a lot of good news with regards to development but my town is not up to scratch when it comes to modern facilities, so I urge the president to come to our aid.”

“Tweapease is the leading in Cocoa production in the Kwaebibirem District but we don’t have anything that shows apart from the raw cocoa farms, therefore we will be happy if we get a Cocoa Clinic. I believe this project falls under the one district one factory project of which it will not be bad at all if we get our share of the national cake”

Secondly, education is very key in every countries development, but up till date, Tweapease does not have a secondary school, since education is important to Nana Addo’s Government we will also be glad if we get a secondary school in our town.

“Finally, our old men and women are really suffering and it will be nice if we get home for the aid for this old people. Even though we are thinking about the youth and other stuff, this project is necessary to keep our elders alive in order to give the young group a sound mind to work efficiently” Nana Asirifi Kotwobo 11 told Uncle Ebo on Oman FM.
