Accra Hearts of Oak have parted ways with Ivorian forward Alexander Kouassi, sources at the Club have revealed to Ghanasportsonline.com.

The player was axed from the team after being regarded surplus by the Club.

Hearts of Oak made some decent signings in the transfer window hence blocking Kouassi’s chances in the team.

The striker had a disastrous spell with the Club and barely played games for the Rainbow Club last season.

Head Coach Henry Willington however excluded him from his squad for the upcoming season.

Kouassi in addition was not handed a squad number confirming his omission from the team.

New signings Joseph Esso and Aboubakar Traore are expected to fill in the space left by the Ivorian import.

Cosmos Dauda also remain in line to lead the attack for the Ghanaian giants in the upcoming season.

Hearts of Oak have also drafted in young attacker Selassie Blessing from the youth team.
