Ghana Community Network Service engages shipping lines

Ghana Community Network Services, GCNet, has organised a stakeholder engagement with shipping lines and terminal operators to discuss some challenges confronting them in their work.

The program was also used by GCNet to educate the shipping lines on some updates on their system.

Among issues discussed are customs decision to enforce the submission of the electronic manifest for export.

Currently, shipping lines submit electronic manifest for import and same is being requested for export in order to save them time in their business.
GCNet sensitized the stakeholders on how to manifest vehicles for effective validation.

Some challenges on the shipping trade in Gh ana that were raised by the shipping lines received immediate resolution by GCNet.
