According to a story attributed to the NDC MP for Asunafo South district, the NPP plagiarized the NDC’s 2016 budget. In his statement " Paragraph 273 of the 2017 budget says principally that the government has allocated GH¢2.04 million for the procurement of five million improved coffee planting seedlings for free distribution to coffee farmers while in the 2016 budget, paragraph 405 also talked about government allocating GH¢2.0 million for the procurement of two million improved coffee planting seedlings for free distribution to coffee farmers."
Now divide NPP's GHC2.04 Million by 5 million seedlings and the answer is GHC 0.40 per coffee seedling. Then divide NDC's GHC 2,0 Million by 2 Million seedlings and the answer is GHC 1.00 per coffee seedling. Now the question is, Who is stealing from who. I don't really know the university that trained these NDC guys. Universities in Ghana are indeed useless.

Well said Kwaku? Why should only Twi be singled out? Any justification V.C.R.A.C Crabbe? We have many tribes in Ghana and therefore would mean allowing all tribesmen who have difficulty in explaining themselves in the English language to speak in their native tongues. That will mean employing translators/interpreters and paying them hefty sums of money at the expense of the Ghananian tax payer.

IS WELCH AND SCOTTISH NATIVE LANGUAGES USED IN BRITISH PARLIAMENT.

You see how hypocritical this guy is!
The constitution is written in English because it was legally "adopted" as the National language. Let us be clear that the MP is clueless about critical issues and I can imagine her signing contracts in English without understanding the nuances. Because there are many dialects that is why it makes sense to adopt or choose one and herein English. It does not how we FEEL about English, it is the historic reality we must embrace. Let us encourage our MPs to read, educate themselves to properly enact laws that will help Ghana rather than ignorance
No wonder drivers in Ghana cannot read road signs and cause accidents.

In the first place the fault or the mistake was given chance to take place. Why should a person not well educated be allowed to go there? Naturally everybody can work in Ghana and speak any language that the person prefers, but could that help our nation since no language is approved as a national apart from English.
Justice Crabbe has played hypocrisy here by agreeing with the Ashanti mind of speaking less English in their region which had affected many of their people in overseas. Is that the way the so calleed educated people in Ghana want to destroy the educational hope of our children presently and of the future?
It seems Ghana is living in CURSE because nobody talks rightly over common and sensible things. Unfortunately everybody agrees with foolish proposals and when a single person come out to correct them they all come out to eat the person up.
Why Ghana? Ghana under Akuffo Addo is spending much money now to prepare our children's future through good education, and why is it that we have allowed the CURSE to cause all the so called respected folks in higher positions to support the opposite of good education that helps our kids to express themselves well here in Ghana and outside Ghana in a way that help us to be held in high esteem.
The foolishness and the stupidity of the fools in authority should not overshadow the reality of education that we in Ghana needs to develop. Even highly technical developed nations of the Scandinavia even uphold English simply because they are aware of the value of spoken English.
What we ought to use for our national matters should be automatically ENGLISH so if somebody is not well invested in it, it is just a matter of encouraging them to get well educated so that they can be more productive in the sense of production.
This acception of twi or ga or other local languages in national matters could undermine all of us in a way we have not imagined. We simply do not need any local language to be a national language. We do speak among us our local languages when one can understand it. l think that is quite okey and sufficient.
Wise up Ghanaians, what is the problem? Is english difficult, if somebody can learn French, Hausa and Walewale and will be able to speak with the interest involved, why can not then the whole of Ghana be helped with education to learn how to speak english for the real development of our nation?
In my view speaking english as the national language brings us together and help us to interact very well out side Ghana thus winning hearts of the people for the goodness of our nation. The educated buffoons with their degrees should come clean so that we hold them in high esteem.
My cry is if well educated justice Crabbe and others that are respected can go down the drain this way then the question would be where is Ghana heading to. English is the way. It is a fine language if one learns it with interest.
Help our children to develop the needed interest so that they can make it better educationally. Stop the Ashanti minds of basically refusing to speak English in their region and thus want to spread that style all over Ghana. Just look the way Akuffo Addo controls the English, who will not like to be like him. Bravoo Akuffo Addo, and shame the Ashantis.

Accomplished personalities are sidelined while some with paper qualifications without brains are sent to Parliament and never contribute to any discussion. This breakthrough will see more brains in the next Parliament.
Language is only a means of communication and MPs should be allowed to communicate in a language that they feel comfortable with. English Language is not a criteria to become a MP.
