Wa Polytechnic manufactures solar lamps

A story posted on the net during the volcano that spewed so much ash from Iceland stated that in Iceland, GEOLOGY is a compulsory subject from nursery. Why? Because the thinking leadership of that country is aware of the possible problems they may face in a situation like what happened a few months ago. My father did not tell me that his father told him that there was a single day in Ghana that the sun did not shine during his lifetime. He could also not bear witness to such a situation in his lifetime. So far, I have also not witnessed it. So now let me ask our educational planners, vice chancellors, professors, associates, lectureres, the GES, Ministry of Education and all WHAT ARE WE DOING WITH THE SUNLIGHT that scorches us 12 hours every day without fail? Can we learn from Iceland? Or the status quo should remain?
