Hans Nunoo Sarpei delighted by return of football

Ghanaian midfielder Hans Nunoo Sarpei is excited by the return of football in Germany after the Bundesliga and Bundesliga II were cleared to start in the middle of May.

The 21-year old returned to training earlier this week with Greuther Fürth as the team prepares for the resumption of the league.

"Excited to get back to work with the Greuther Fürth as the Bundesliga resumes," he posted on Twitter.

Football is Germany has been suspended since March following the rapid spread of the coronavirus, however after two months without the game, the German chancellor finally agreed for the football's return on May 16.

The Bundesliga and Bundesliga ii will all commence next weekend and it is expected to end on June 27.

Measures have been put in place by the German Football Association to ensure players are safe from the coronavirus.

Sarpei, currently on loan from Stuttgart has made 17 appearances already for the Bundesliga II side this season.
