Ghana midfielder Ebenezer Ofori featured as AIK Stockholm bounced back from the heavy defeat in midweek to Norrkoping to beat Hammarby IF in the Swedish Allveskan on Sunday.

Ofori lasted the entire duration, playing a pivotal role in the 2-0 victory at the Tele2 Arena.

The Swedish giants were hammered last Wednesday at home 4-1 by Norrkorping, after conceding four goals in 32 minutes.

Ebenezer Ofori earned a starting berth on Sunday after replacing Enock Adu Kofi in midweek, coming on to change the game.

The 24-year old repaid manager Robert Falck with a solid display in the middle of the park as AIK secured their second win of the campaign after three games.

Bilal Hussein opened the scoring for AIK ten minutes after the break before former Sunderland star Sebastien Larssen added the second three minutes later.

Ofori's compatriot Adu Kofi replaced Sebastien Larssen in the 80th minute.

Ebenezer Ofori rejoined the Swedish side after an unsuccessful spell in Germany with Stuttgart and a brief loan spell in the United Stars with New York City FC.
