The Black Stars defeated Asante Kotoko 3-0 in a friendly played on Friday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The match which was arranged to get the national team busy after CAF cancelled the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone, saw Coach Kwesi Appiah’s men scoring through strikers Abdul Majeed Warris, Emmanuel Boateng and midfielder Christian Atsu.

Nantes striker Warris scored in the 21st minute after he connected home a pass from Isaac Sackey before shooting into the right bottom corner.

Levante Striker Emmanuel Boateng increased the tally in the 47th minute to give the Stars a commanding lead.

Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu in the 55th minute outwitted Kotoko defender Wahab Adams to register the third and final goal for the team.
