Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has stepped up his personal training ahead of the 2019 AFCON to be staged in Egypt later this month.

The former Ghana captain has been named in Coach Kwasi Appiah’s 29-man provisional squad to start camping in Dubai.

Gyan who had a torrid time this season with Turkish side Kayserispor has stepped up his training to catch up with his fitness before the tournament.

Gyan played 258 minutes for his side, coming in in 14 games with 4 goals.
