Contrary to earlier reports that there is insecurity and chaos at the Ardeyman area in the Amasaman district of the Greater Accra Region over the assassination of a late chief, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sisamba Empire has given a strong indication that the area is peaceful and open for doing business.

The CEO said the situation that land guards have taken over the town was a figment of some unscrupulous individuals’ imagination in the area.

According to the CEO of Sisamba Empire, the area is calm and prepared for business adding that there is no course for alarm in the area.

He stressed that life is normal in the area and that there is no problem and anybody can move there do their business unperturbed.

Sisamba Empire Limited, a real estate developing company has lands for sale at Kuntese, Sarpeiman, Ayikai Doblo and Opah as well as Ardeyman.

Nii Abbey Okanfrah, said the erroneous reports of insecurity in the area was an attempt to destroy his legitimate business in the area.

The CEO gave this assurance in an interview with this paper after news broke that there was chaos in the area that led to the arrest of some three individuals in the area.

He narrated that the arrest of the Ardeyman Mankrolo, Nii Adu Otu and two others was on the excuse that they were involved in the indiscriminate felling of trees in the area.

He admitted that the three individuals were involved in a communal labour to weed the palace from the filth that has engulfed it as part of the National Sanitation Day declared by the city authorities.

The fear and panic being created in the area are perpetrated by a few persons who can be dealt with if the law takes its course he maintained.

According to him, these people whom he described as ‘land snatchers’ have taken bold steps with the aim of destroying his hard work by spreading false news stories about him and his business in the area.
“Ironically, these ‘land snatchers have found their peers in the security to assist them in the path of destroying his character without merit. This is very unfortunate for the society and hardworking businessmen in the country like me,” he explained.

Nii Abbey Okanfrah aside being the CEO of the estate developing company is also the Development Chief of Sarpeiman near Amasaman.

He was of the view that these occurrences if not checked and condemned have the tendency of tarnishing the future of some well-meaning persons whose business ideas could move the country forward.

“I have been a victim of these series of these attempts to create insecurity for my company in the area by these land snatchers,” he stressed.

He explained that some of these ‘land snatchers ‘ who practice their trade of land snatching for a very long time in the areas have succeeded and left an atmosphere of endless litigation and lawlessness for business people.

He noted that the said land snatchers who parade themselves as ‘chiefs’ are only guided by greed and ignorance and going about telling prospective developers that lands belonging to the company “are no man’s land”.

He pledged that his company will not relent in its quest to protect its legitimate business in the area.

We are a company that is registered under the company’s code of the Republic of Ghana and we welcome everybody who wants to do business.

He appealed to prospective land buyers to ignore the noises in the media and visit the office of the company in Ardeyman as there are ‘no ifs and buts’ in doing business with the company in the area.

He urged the people parading themselves as chiefs to report issues of land theft to the Ghana Police Service and not creating unnecessary chaos which has been their hallmark over the years.
