Asantehene commends SIC Insurance

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has commended SIC Insurance Company Limited for their commitment towards the development of education and capacity building especially in the Insurance Industry in Ghana.

The Asantehene said this during a joint courtesy call on him at the Manhyia Place by a delegation from SIC Insurance, led by the Acting Managing Director, Mr. Kwei Mensah Ashidam and leadership of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana, led by the President Mr. Kwabena Yeboah.

SIC Insurance donated an amount of GHS10,000 to support the Otumfuo Education Fund.

In his remarks Otumfuo Osei Tutu II said, he has followed keenly most of the initiatives in education, health and other areas that Ghana’s insurance giant has supported to complement the development efforts of governments and communities.

He added that SIC Insurance’s commitment to sustainable development, especially in education, is in line with his effort and it was, therefore, proper for the company to support the Education Foundation.

The Asantehene thanked SIC Insurance for the donation and admonished the company to maintain the good corporate citizenship
