GSE Suspends Listing Status Of Two Companies

The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) has suspended the listing status of Clydestone (Ghana) Limited and Transaction Solutions (Ghana) Limited on the bourse.

A press release issued by GSE recently, which made this known, said the suspension, which took effect on July 9, 2012, would continue until the two companies hold their respective Annual General Meetings (AGMs).

Meanwhile, Clydestone announced that its AGM announced earlier had been re-scheduled for 3rd August, 2012 at the Trade Fair site, La. Transol also re-scheduled its AGM for 10th August, 2012 at the same venue.

It is unclear what might have influenced the two companies to postpone their planned AGMs.
