Accra bourse rises in mixed trading

Accra, Sept. 13, GNA - The Accra bourse rose in mixed trading on Thursday with the main stock index making a good gain but volumes being low.

The GSE All-Share Index climbed by 21.81 points at 5,627.82 points from 5,606.01 points, but volumes that changed hands ended at 98,400 shares from 113,100 on Wednesday.

Change for the year ended at 12.42 per cent.

There were six price changes, all positive.

PZ was up by 0.0735 GH cedis at 0.8085 GH cedis, Ecobank Ghana Limited gained 0.0298 GH cedis at 1.5800 GH cedis, Unilever gained 0.0490 GH cedis at 2.0500 GH cedis, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited was up by 0.0200 GH cedis at 1.0500 GH cedis, TOTAL gained 0.0002 GH cedis and Fan Milk inched up 0.0001 GH cedi at 2.1103 GH cedis. Market capitalisation ended at 11,720.92 million GH cedis from 11,707.69 million GH cedis.
