The Outdooring of Baby Easellen in NY

Yonkers, NY

Friends and family of Mr. & Mrs. Charles Boateng gathered at theYonkers
Diner on April 4th, 2009 to celebrate the outdooring of their beautiful baby
girl Easellen Adwoa Abrafi Boateng. Mr. Charles Boateng proved to be the man
of the wonderful family, when a Yonkers stakeholder exclaimed that this fine
Ghanaian had made Yonkers proud with the caliber of invited guests and he is
a real ?Yonker?, meaning a real young gentleman.

Let?s digress here with a little history: In 1646 the site of the Easellen
christening party, Yonkers Diner located at 53 South Broadway formed part of
a land grant made to Dutch colonizer Adriaen Van der Donck. Van der Donck
was known locally as the Jonkheer or Jonker (etymologically, "young
gentleman?), a word from which the name "Yonkers" is directly derived.

Hon. Mr. Freeman and Beautiful Yaa Amponsah respectfully served as the God
Parents to Eassellen with support from Sister Felicia of Central market,
Sister Naana of Yonkers Market, Joyce Manu of Texas alongside Josephine
Agyare of France. Deejay DotCom music captivated so much attention that the
floor was always full of dancers with Daniel Atakora, the master of ceremony
eloquently easing information flow and provision of acolades for the
digntaries who came all over from Europe. The occasion was chaired by Mr. &
Mrs. Yaw Amoah and Nana Cobbina, who lauded the videoman Kwasi for
exhibiting high sense of profesionalism in covering the function so well
amidst overflowing crowd.

This extraordinary occasion is a wondrous celebration of the new life of
Easellen Boateng, whilst friends got caught up in fun, Rev. Kissi Peprah and
Rev David Quaicoo maintained the holiness of the event with prayers, advice
and words of wisdom. In the end, Verena Akua gave a passionate kiss and
loving words to Charles that ?If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to
be a hundred minus one day, So that I'll never have to live without you?.
