An exhibition aimed at promoting trade and investment between Ghana and Canada will be held in Toronto from September 15th to 18th. The exhibition, dubbed Ghana Expo Canada 2005 is expected to attract about 350 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors.
The exhibition will enable Ghanaian and Canadian businesses to engage in discussions on business opportunities. It will also be used to showcase Ghana as a reliable source of raw materials and finished products. The exhibition will be open to operators in areas such as agriculture, manufacturing, non-traditional exports, financial services and tourism.
At a ceremony in Accra to launch the event, Canadian High Commissioner to Ghana, Donald Bobiash said the exhibition will be a platform to increase bilateral trade between the two countries. He urged entrepreneurs to use it to explore viable business prospects in the two countries.
