Citizen donates health equipment to Ejisu Clinic

Ejisu (Ash), April 17, GNA - Mr Dennis Kwame Appiah-Kubi, a citizen of Ejisu based in Seattle in the United States of America (USA) on Monday presented health equipment worth over 1,000 dollars to the Ejisu Clinic.

The items included one sphygmomanometer used in monitoring blood pressure and 120 pieces of digital thermometers.

Mr Appiah-Kubi said the donation was his widow's mite to improve the health needs of the people He appealed to the health personnel to take good care of the equipment to motivate others to contribute towards the development of the town.

Mr Solomon Larbi, Ejisu-Juaben District Finance Officer, who received the items, thanked the donor for the gesture. He appealed to other individuals, churches and organizations to follow Mr Appiah-Kubui's example.
