Mr Buabeng said, over 500 youth in the municipality had the opportunity through the Planting for Food and Jobs to work on a 182-acre maize farm at Okobeyeyie near Nsawam. He said some of the yield from the farm would be exported for foreign exchange to support the development of the country.

He said Astek and Farmapine factories would soon be rehabilitated under the One District One Factory policy of the government to promote youth employment in the municipality and the Municipal Assembly also constructed schools at Panpanso, Obregyima, Asikabew and Bowkrom.
