Deputy Sports Minister, Perry Okudzeto has cleared doubt about Ghana’s risk of losing the hosting rights of the 2018 Africa Women’s Nations Cup.

There were reports Ghana could lose out in hosting the competition due to poor preparation.

According to the government official, the country have received massive backing from CAF to host the tournament this November.

“There has been doubt about Ghanaian’s readiness to host the tournament but the country has the support and trust of CAF to host it and we are hosting it,” he said during the inauguration of the local organizing committee on Thursday.
