In the first place it is very bad the action of the people at Denkyira_Obuasi. What I as an individual want to know is, WHO SENT THE MILITARY ATTACHMENT TO THAT AREA. Was it by the Government or by the Military establishment themselves. What were they protecting. Was the Government aware, was the regional minister aware, was the DCE aware? Were the chiefs and local committee aware, where were they based, in the town/village or in the bush. How many soldiers were deployed there. Were the soldiers protecting the land against galamsey or they were overseeing the galamsey business in that area.
Ghanaians should wake up and look into it. What did Hon Amewu say regarding the soldiers and his (Amewu) fight against the menace. I can say for sure that the death of Captain Maxwel Mahama is going to END galamsey in Ghana.
