This council will come with a full service, paying huge sitting allowances for consultations. Who doesn't know streamlining your expenditures wouldnt bring saving advantages.

I was a bit confused about the term 'fiscal council'...they would be appointed by government to access the credibility of fiscal policies as I understood....... bravo if it's like what we have here in Uk. A body that is independent like the central bank whose main role is to analysis the projection of government spending relative to revenue, i.e tax and expenditure given budget target and constraints...which to say they will investigate and independently? have a mandate to forecast and publishe their findings to whether government fiscal policies are achievable or missed......their independency is crucial, much crucial that they shouldn't be appointed by government I they are to be seen as independent with fair analysis fiscal policies.... example is institute of fiscal studies in UK
