Govt has to come out of this . It should be floated to the public. Govt only has to be a regulator and collect the taxes for efficient use in the developm ... read full comment

Govt has to come out of this . It should be floated to the public. Govt only has to be a regulator and collect the taxes for efficient use in the development of the nation. Any business run by govt does not do well. If we get the private sector to run it fully, electricity will become affordable . Currently it cost more in terms of electricity bill in Ghana than in most places in the USA .

Government has managed this outfit for years and what happened? Governments are regulators and must not operate such an outfit......it just doesn't work folks.
