Part of the gang that resisted more oil money for Ghana because according to their leader, Amin Adam, what Ghana is getting in oil income, 14% of the oil revenues, is "not bad".
Go figure!

You thought NDC would never lose the 2016 election but they did? So there is obviously a problem here don't you think? A big problem indeed Kwabena Donkor because if the contract is renegotiated all commission paid to any individual not necessarily you would definitely be leaked. Politics is a dirty game hence it is better to struggle to make your own money then to pocket commission meant for state funds to develop an entire country. This is what many so called wanna be politicians do not release. This is because today you may be a big man a VIP with all the perks tomorrow even your 4 by 4 Cruiser would be questioned.

The new administration in Ghana, wants to RENEGOTIATE the Ameri contract put in place by a previous government. The excuse that the power agreement was sealed under emergency, should not stop any authority from attempting to have a look in, with the view to beat down the cost to the nation. It will be recalled, when the Ameri deal came through, Ghanaian consumers were made to pay higher tariffs for the service. The nation complained and President Mahama told us, the reason for the high cost was because of a faulty calculus regime the ECG had put into operation. He promised a reduction in tariffs, beginning of July 2016, after the fault had been rectified. This never came to fruition. Ghanaians are still burdened by high tariffs, the direct result of the sour Ameri contract. In this case, is it asking too much for a responsible government to intervene for the good of society?

He should forget about political affiliation because this body served the people of Ghana through their vigilance. It could have been even disaster without them. Let's praise and encourage them .The ndc could also do same to help check corruption

P Amewu who is the volta Regional chairman of NPP doubles as minister of energy and natural resources. Their board chair, Dr Jemima Nunoo who lectures at GIMPA and works at John Kuffour Foundation is a strong member of NPP. ACEP lacks credibility.
