Tema Oil Refinery Tema Oil Refinery

Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) workers’ union, the official mouthpiece of the workers at the Tema Oil Refinery have dissociated themselves from a recent publication which sought to suggest that workers want the board of directors to be sacked by government.

This was contained in an official statement released and signed by Paul Adongo and John Elton Brobbey, Chairmen for both TOR PMSU OF UNICOV and TOR GTPCWU respectively.

The workers stated that although the company is facing a few challenges, they are collaborating with management and other stakeholders and are confident that the refinery will emerge stronger in no time.

The statement stressed a well-known fact that TOR plays an important role in the national economy, and that when the company receives the right boost from government in terms of capitalization, the nation would stand to gain a great deal.

In a related development, our outfit can confirm that plans by a group of people who are working against the interest of management have been exposed.

An Intel report gathered by members of the team indicates that these people surreptitiously publish twisted facts and false information about the company with the sole aim of making the company look bad and unattractive in the eyes of potential partners and investors.

The modus operandi of the cartel is to use social media and other platforms to spread falsehood packaged as coming from the workers’ of TOR.

In the last couple of weeks, the group has deliberately spread falsehoods about the company and fabricated lies about its Board and Directors as part of their evil plans against the company.

Management in an interview informed us how the company is making plans to secure a long term supply of crude oil to ensure that the refinery continues to refine crude oil without shutting down intermittently.
